This is one of the most widely known afflictions in landscape feng shui. In fact almost all Chinese are so familiar with this particular feng shui taboo that it is difficult for anyone to sell a house that faces an oncoming road to a Chinese family. The oncoming road is regarded as a poison arrow and the best way to solve this problem should you need to, is to literally block the offending road from view. If your house faces an oncoming road but you are located higher than the road, then the road will not harm you. But if your house is lower than the road then the oncoming road takes on the hostile energies of a deadly tiger.
