Houses and buildings should be colour coordinated according to their element.

Buildings that face North are auspicious when they are predominantly red or green in colour. This is based on the house sitting direction. When the house faces North, it is sitting South.

Building that face South and thus sit North, are auspicious when they are predominantly white or blue in colour.

Buildings that face East and Southeast are auspicious when they are predominantly white or yellow in colour.

Buildings that face West and Northwest are auspicious when they are predominantly green or blue in colour.

Buildings that face Southwest and Northeast are auspicious when they are predominantly yellow or red in colour.
